our rentals are in playa del carmen, or pdc, which is located in the riviera maya.  easy to reach by a 45 minute ride from cancun's international airport.  a few of the many attractions in pdc are the beaches, fishing, snorkeling and some of the best scuba diving in the world. 

day trips can be made to mayan ruins at coba or tulum.   chichen itza, recently named one of the new seven wonders of the world, is also only a couple short hours away.  exciting eco parks such as xcaret and xel-ha are nearby. the ferry to cozumel only takes an hour from pdc and is great for a day of diving or shopping.  with the warm and clear turquoise caribbean at your doorstep, the possibilities are endless.

the unique harmony of playa del carmen is generated by its village like atmosphere and the smiling face of its people. although pdc is becoming a very popular international destination, its original charm and atmosphere remain untouched. playa del carmen offers the kind of service and hospitality that provincial mexico is so well-known for.

tranquil?  yes … but with enough amenities, golf courses, fine dining and nightlife that you won't feel you've left civilization behind. it is easy to meet people and you can easily get around without a car. although small and laid back, playa del carmen offers all the necessities of life including medical care, banks, spa and gym, churches, several large supermarkets, furniture stores, and so much more, all within walking distance of the condo rentals.
